Blockchain domain name provider Unstoppable Domains has officially announced a collaboration with Brave browser to provides its native support to .crypto domains.
Brave is a privacy-oriented web browser that was launched in January 2016. Brave software was created by Brendan Eich, creator of JavaScript and co-founder of Mozilla (Firefox), and Brian Bondy, formerly of Khan Academy and Mozilla.
Unstoppable Domains was launched a bit later, in 2018, providing .Crypto domains with zero renewal fees which means once you buy a .crypto domain, it will be yours forever and you don’t need to pay renewal fees every year. What makes this process unique is that when a domain is purchased by a user, it’s minted as a non-fungible token (NFT) on the Ethereum blockchain.
This partnership will allow over 30 million monthly Brave users to seamlessly access the decentralized Web and will bring Unstoppable Domains and Brave one step closer to the next generation of the Internet, one where privacy matters and users take back control.
As more browsers continue to integrate with .crypto domains, Unstoppable Domains is revolutionizing the way users surf the internet. This partnership with Brave will allow even more users to delve further into the world of Web3 in a frictionless manner, with the added confidence and protection that Brave’s leading privacy and security features offer against tracking and hacking.
