Today morning, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, posted a pic on his Facebook wall where he has named his goats “Max” and “Bitcoin”. It has become a hot talking point in the crypto world and people are tweeting about it all over.
SkyBridge founder Anthony Scaramucci showed welcoming Zuckerberg to the Bitcoin community in his tweet.
Anthony Pompliano, an entrepreneur and early investor in Coinbase, BlockFi, eToro also teased Mark saying “he is a bitcoin maximalist with the names of his goats?” in his tweet.
Now, I am sure fans are waiting for Mark to put the official support “laser eye” profile pic and become an official supporter just like NFL superstar Tom Brady who opened up his support for bitcoin yesterday and has put laser eye profile pic on Twitter.
Facebookβs shareholder meeting is scheduled to take place on May 26. Crypto enthusiasts might want to mark this day on their calendars given that the odds of Zuckerberg announcing Bitcoin holdings have now increased.
Also to note that Facebookβs Diem (Previously Libra) coin which did not see the light of the day in its earlier attempt is now planning a comeback. The Diem association is aiming to launch a pilot with a single stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar in 2021, according to CNBC.
