Virtue Poker today made an announcement that it will be launching the VPP token following IDO (Initial Dex Offering) on May 28th, 2021 via Uniswap. Ethereum based decentralized gambling platform had raised $5 million in a strategic investment round last month from most prominent investors and VC firms, including Pantera Capital, Fenbushi Capital, DFG Group, JRR, Flurry Capital, and more.
The project was incubated by blockchain developer ConsenSys and counts Pantera Capital and DFG Group among its backers. Virtue Poker is the only blockchain-based company to be licensed by Malta’s gambling regulator.
The platform uses smart contracts and sidechain infrastructure to bring greater transparency to online gambling with regard to withdrawals and other functions.
In a bid to outrank competitors, Virtue Poker, has joined hands with SuperFarm, a cross-chain DeFi protocol that can turn any token into NFT without any codes. NFTs can be rewarded for knocking out players (bounties), for tournament victories (bracelets), and for several other cool use cases including as prizes and are unique tokens for user’s personal play on the app.
Virtue Poker token holders will gain several benefits, including access to marketing initiatives, huge savings on service fees, a chance to voice their opinion in the platform’s development process, and staking rewards of up to 50% of the platform’s fees.
