Unmineable is a mining platform that allows people to get into crypto mining in the simplest way possible. You don’t necessarily need an ASIC or GPU hardware but with the help of Unmineable mining software, you can run mining on your Windows or Mac PC.
It is called Unmineable because it lets you mine cryptocurrencies that otherwise are not mineable. For example, MATIC is not a PoW (Proof-of-work) based token, so technically, you can’t mine it, but rather you have to set up a validator node that connects to the Matic network to earn rewards for validating transactions.
How does Unmineable allow non-mineable coins to be mineable?
Unmineable has built an easy abstraction for miners as well as for regular users to start earning their favorite cryptocurrency. The underlying mining process is based on actual mineable coins that use PoW. On top of that, there is an exchanging process that runs in the background and converts the actual mineable coin rewards to the coin user chooses.
The conversion is processed in real-time on each reward. It feels like if the user is actually mining the non-mineable coin. And there are no additional exchange fees that users need to pay. Any possible external fees are already covered inside their 1% platform fee. Also, there are no payout or withdrawal fees. Additionally, if a user opts for a referral code, the platform fees come down to only 0.75%.

How to mine MATIC (Polygon) coin on Unmineable?
- Goto unMineable website
- In the search box, search for MATIC coin
- On the MATIC coin page, select your mining algorithm. If you are mining on Windows or Mac PC without GPU then simply select RandomX algorithm.
- On the right side next to the algorithm, you will get two options:
- Select the “Get started with xmrig” option if you have a Mac PC or
- Select the “Get started with our mining app” option if you have a Windows PC
- Follow the instructions to set up the mining software on your Windows or Mac machine
- Before running your mining software there are two important configurations that you need to change for every coin that you want to mine. Both these settings are given on the UnMineable coin page below the algorithm selection:
- The first setting is the Global Server URL and
- Second is the user field where you need to set your coin name, wallet address & worker name in a defined format like “MATIC:Address.Worker#referral-code“. For referral code use “jsar-d6t0” to lower your mining fees to 0.75%.
- Start your mining software and if all goes well, you will start seeing mining rewards on the address page when you put your wallet address.
