MetaMask has announced that users now can buy cryptocurrencies from their iOS devices using Apple Pay. Yet another big achievement by the popular crypto wallet in the vast crypto exchange community.
MetaMask runs on almost all types of web browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome, and browser that supports Apple Pay. Earlier, users would have to buy ETH from a different exchange like Coinbase or Binance and then transfer it to the MetaMask wallet for variable use cases. But now, this tedious procedure has come to an end where users can easily purchase crypto directly on the app with their Master and Visa cards via Apple Pay.
Wyre, a world-class payment API solution for many payment gateways is used by the MetaMask to enroute the payments from user accounts to the exchange platform. This will not only allow the purchase of cryptocurrencies but will also provide optimum security to the transaction. Wyre offers cryptocurrencies in exchange for fiat currencies via APIs and integrates with Apple Pay. According to the reports, Apple users can deposit a maximum of $400 in their wallets by way of their Master or Visa cards.
ConsenSys, the parent company of MetaMask offered a swap feature where users could swap their assets with other users in return for different assets having different values. Also, it allows users to limit gas fees on the transactions made on the app. The mobile version of the crypto wallet also has a built-in browser of decentralized applications (dApps) and NFT marketplaces.
Additionally, MetaMask has revealed the Apple ‘DARK MODE’ feature on the application. The dark mode was in constant demand by the users and now it has finally arrived.
