New options for Meta product users have been rolled out. Meta has introduced 3D avatars to Instagram stories and Direct Messages (DMs). This will allow users to show themselves as their virtual selves in profile pictures, stickers, feed posts, stories. Meta is working to allow people to choose their avatars based on skin tones, abilities, facial expressions. The social media platform is still adding several defined features to it. This amazing new feature will permit users to express themselves more elaborately.
Currently, Meta has introduced this 3D avatar to the countries like the United States, Canada, Mexico. It is anticipated that Meta can introduce this feature to other parts of the world in some time. Still, there is no word about it. The company states, that these 3D avatars will automatically enter in the 3-dimensional part once updated further.
The user-engaging platform intends to grab all the attention by launching features while making small steps in entering the metaverse. Likewise, these 3D avatars are the initial stage to enter into the next evolution of social technology. Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg posted, “We’re starting to experiment with digital clothing too. You can use your avatar across Quest, Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. One day you’ll have multiple avatars ranging from expressive to photorealistic. Looking forward to sharing more soon”.
Also on Monday, Meta introduces its new feature for its 3D avatars. These avatars will now have Super Bowl LVI-themed T-Shirts across all platforms. This Year’s NFL (National Football League) called ‘Super Bowl’ is supposed to be conducted in Sofi Stadiums, California. The face-off will begin between Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams on February 13th.
The company is also ready to disclose plans for its VR-AR technological hardware unit for the first time. At the same time, it will be interesting to know more about the funds incorporated, the leading team, the head of the unit, and other sequential features.
