Princeton’s high-profile alumni have come forward for research initiatives in ‘blockchain engineering and related technologies. Princeton’s Venture Forward campaign is likely to receive $20 million funds from its alumni who wish to support the university in discovering diverse applications of blockchain technology.
The alumni of Princeton University are
- Peter Briger Jr. principal and co-CEO, Fortress Investment Group;
- Joseph Lubin, co-founder of the Ethereum blockchain network and head of ConsenSys;
- Daniel Morehead, Founder & CEO, Pantera Capital; and
- Michael Novogratz, Chief Executive Officer, Galaxy Investment Partners.
Further, the funds will be allocated to Princeton’s School of Engineering and Applied Science led by Indian origin Prof. Jaswinder Pal Singh. Also, Jaswinder Pal Singh hugely embraces blockchain technology and wants to discover more benefits with the least harm out of it. Moreover, Singh is on the Blockstack PBC Board of Directors since 2019.

Interestingly, the initiative aims to study in-depth the modern technologies specifically blockchain who has the power to revolutionize and disrupt the world. According to Princeton, the power of decentralization have an abundance of opportunities for social reforms, news, voting, and finances.
In the same way, Princeton revealed the association of its Blockchain Society with Radio Caca (RACA), a Metaverse and NFT project-led organization. Further on this, RACA a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) aims to create a metaverse for students. Consequently, the DAO has partnered with dozens of blockchain societies including Princeton’s Blockchain Society.
Also, RACA ranks among the top 20 metaverse tokens on CoinMarketCap with a market capitalization of $353 million.
